The man accused of following another man to his home to and hitting him with a gun pleads not guilty in court Monday.

Nathaniel Dudding, 21, is charged with felony counts of robbery and assault with a weapon.

According to court documents, Dudding asked a 20-year-old man for a cigarette and continued following him after he said he didn't have any. The documents state Dudding followed the 20-year-old to his home and pointed a gun at him, instructing him to empty his pockets.

When the 20-year-old did so, Dudding allegedly stated he was going to kick down the door to get a cigarette and then hit the 20-year-old in the nose with the gun. According to charging documents, after a scuffle, the 20-year-old took the gun away from Dudding and Dudding fled the scene.
