BILLINGS -

The mother of a teen charged with rape appears in court Monday. Pamela Coleman of Laurel pleads not guilty to two counts of sexual abuse of children.

Court documents indicate on March 28, Coleman's co-worker saw a nude photo of a 14-year-old girl on Coleman’s phone. Coleman told the coworker the photo was sent to her by her son Jordan Coleman. The 14-year-old told officers she was blackmailed by Jordan Coleman into taking the photos.

After an investigation, law enforcement authorities say they found 11 sexually explicit photos of the teenage girl on Coleman’s phone. They say images had been saved onto Coleman's phone by photographing the screen of another cell phone.
