Posted: Updated:
BILLINGS - The woman involved in a string of casino robberies changes her plea in court Thursday.

Karen Damron pled guilty to three counts of robbery and two counts of attempted robbery.

Court documents state Damron robbed the Nickel Ante Casino, Cedar Ridge Casino and Lucky Lils Casino, and attempted to rob the Diamond Jubilee Casino and Doc and Eddy's Casino. According to witnesses, Damron walked into the stores and demanded money.

Court documents also indicate Damron's intent of the robberies was to raise bond money for James Cracraft, a man accused of shooting at another person in the Heights Target parking lot.

Streets that run for several blocks, without a single street light. It is a dark reality many residents throughout the Magic City face when the sun goes down. Leo Robinson lives on Monad Rd., east of 24th Street. He said if street lights were placed on Monad, safety for everyone would improve. Terry Smith, City Traffic Engineer, said the city is more than willing to work with anyone, on any street, which lacks street lights.
