Man in High-Speed Crash Appears in Court

Posted: Updated:
BILLINGS - An 18-year-old Billings man, arrested in April on charges related to a fiery rollover crash, appears in court.

Prosecutors changed Damian Strever's previous charge of negligent homicide to vehicular homicide while under the influence. Strever is also charged with negligent vehicular assault, criminal endangerment, and criminal possession of drug paraphernalia.

Court documents show Strever was under the influence of methamphetamine when he crashed a Buick Regal near the intersection of North Frontage and Exxon Mobil roads.

Strever's passenger, 26-year-old Nina Klein of Billings, was killed in the rollover and a three-year-old girl was injured.
