St. Vincent Donates to Non-Profits

Posted: Updated:
BILLINGS - St. Vincent Healthcare presented checks to nine different community non-profit agencies, today.

The funds came from the hospital's Share Our Spirit - Associate Giving Campaign.

St. Vincent employees raised more than $20,000.

CEO

, Steve Loveless, says that it is extremely heart-warming to see the recipient's response to the generous donations.

"Great expressions of appreciation and stories as to how this will extend their service, or program, in our community to individuals that would not receive those services otherwise,” says Loveless.

"They're working with this specific situation, they know the needs that other families have, and to be able to extend that is amazing,” says Barbera.

Since the very first “Share Our Spirit Campaign” in 1988, the program has raised more than $4 million.

Susanne Rodell faced a difficult situation. Hail storm damage to her roof led to an insurance claim being filed. Rodell picked a local contractor to fix her roof, but mother nature did not cooperate. While the roofing company was in the middle of fixing her roof, a weekend of rain caused water damage to dry wall and ceilings within the house.
