BILLINGS - City Council members got a briefing Monday on the city's budget outlook for 2015.

City of Billings Finance Director, Pat Weber, said financially, the Magic City is doing very well.

Weber said the next big money decision will be made by voters on the Public Safety Mill Levy.

"For right now, we're looking pretty good. We know at some point, you know, we're gonna be talking about a public safety levy, but for FY 15 proposal budget, we're okay," said Weber.

Among other things, if voters approve the levy, the money will be used to hire additional police officers and firefighters.
