American Auto Body held it's second Heels and Automobiles event of the year.

This event is to teach women basic car maintenance, like changing a tire, checking the oil, jumpstarting a car, and they also got a very loud airbag deployment demonstration.

American Auto Body owner, Todd Litton, said this class is to help women get out of stressful situations like flat tires and dead batteries.

Litton said the class is held four times a year, and has 45 women per class.

The class offers hands-on experience, a dinner, and door prizes.

For any women who were unable to attend tonight, Litton said getting familiar with your car through the owners manual is one of the most important things you can do.

"Get familiar with your car, understand, read your owners manual, understand how to do this properly because it can be more difficult. Making sure you have air in your spare, knowing where the jack and the tire wrench is. It's something you want to actually practice," said Litton

Litton said the program is getting popular, and if you would like to participate, you should sign up quickly because there could be a waiting list.
