Lt. Shane Skillen's Actions Against Dean Jess Ruled Justified

BILLINGS -

The coroner's inquest into the shooting death of Dean Randolph Jess resulted in the jury saying Lt. Shane Skillen was justified.

The proceedings began at 9 A.M.  Several witnesses who were on the scene the day of the incident testified.  All of the witnesses, barring the medical examiner, said Dean Jess was not following any of the commands being given by Deputy Ellis and Lt. Skillen.

After a very tense argument, Dean Jess mouthed to Lt. Skillen "shoot me here," as he tapped his forehead.

The seven person, three men, four women jury took around five minutes to render a verdict.

Since the jury found Lt. Skillen's actions justified, he's ready to start living a normal life.

Susanne Rodell faced a difficult situation. Hail storm damage to her roof led to an insurance claim being filed. Rodell picked a local contractor to fix her roof, but mother nature did not cooperate. While the roofing company was in the middle of fixing her roof, a weekend of rain caused water damage to dry wall and ceilings within the house.
