Magic City in for an Allergen Explosion

Posted: Updated:
BILLINGS -

The City of Billings is in for a allergen explosion.

According to Dr. Laura Moore, allergist with Billings Clinic, the Magic City will be an allergy sufferers worst nightmare.

Dr. Moore says there are several over-the-counter medications that should alleviate allergy symptoms.  There's also a nasal spray that has been made available over the counter in the last year.

Although the warm weather might tempt you to open your front door to let some fresh air in, or roll down your car windows, Dr. Moore says that's not a good idea.  Warmer weather equals a higher allergen count, therefore opening your door will increase your allergy symptoms.

If over-the-counter medications don't alleviate your symptoms, Dr. Moore says scheduling a visit with your doctor might be in order to see if there's something else behind your allergy symptoms.
