BILLINGS -

The expansion of the VA clinic in Billings has been 6 years in the making. The wait is over.

An open house and ribbon cutting ceremony was held Friday at the expanded facility to celebrate. Representative Steve Daines and Senators John Walsh and Jon Tester came to Billings to tour the $6.3 million additions to the VA clinic.

The new clinic, located off of Majestic Lane in Billings, will serve about 12,000 veterans from Montana, Wyoming, and North Dakota. Specialty services include mental health care, outpatient surgery, dental, physical and occupational therapies, and eye care. These are services previously available only at Fort Harrison in Helena.
