West End Fire Causes Extensive Damage

Posted: Updated:
BILLINGS, Mont. -

Monday evening, Billings firefighters responded to a house fire on Stream Stone on Billings West End.

Firefighters say the basement of the home was fully engulfed with flames and smoke. Four engines, a ladder truck, and commander responded and managed to put out the fire in a matter of minutes.

Battalion Chief, Boyd Vopel, says the basement of the home suffered extensive fire damage, and the rest of the home suffered significant smoke damage.

The Chief says it appears the cause of the fire is electrical, but the investigation continues. No one was injured.
