BILLINGS -

Jury selection for the trial of the accused Billings serial rapist starts Wednesday. Toby Griego's trial starts Monday.

In January, Judge Russell Fagg rejected a motion by the defense to move Griego's trial out of Yellowstone County. He agreed to a motion to suppress evidence from Griego's previous crimes in New Mexico. The judge also ruled on a motion to split up Griego's charges, agreeing to separate out three drug charges, but ruling the rest must be tried together.

The accused rapist faces 40 charges for assaults committed last summer.
