Billings Top for Job Satisfaction

BILLINGS, Mont. -

It appears the Magic City is pretty magical throughout the rest of the nation too.

According to a new survey released by Gallup and Healthways, out of 189 cities, Billings is the number one city in the nation when it comes to job satisfaction, and it's number 15 for overall well-being.

More than 178,000 people nationwide were surveyed about their jobs, health, and lifestyle. Overall, Montana did well coming in 5th, and in the top 10 in four of the six categories.

John brewer, the President of the Billings Chamber Of Commerce, has some suggestions for continuing on the path to success.

"I don't know if you can overemphasize the quality of life. Every community, you know, strives to be a place where people want to live, and we have to keep up with that. We have to keep our trail system growing strong and vibrant, our entertainment districts thriving with activities that people want to get out and see and enjoy things," said Brewer.

Unfortunately, Wyoming came in 34th. The cities that topped the overall best list were Provo and Orem, Utah.
