The Signal Peak Mine in Roundup gets the go-ahead from the state Board of Land Commissioners to expand. In an e-mail Attorney General Tim Fox states the board Tuesday morning unanimously voted to allow the expansion of the mine. Fox, who is on the board, says the vote means another decade of secure employment for 325 Montanans. He also says the expansion means more than $100,000 in new state and local revenue. The mine is looking to grow by nearly 7,000 acres.
