Candidates Running to Represent Montana

It's now official, filing to run for office in Montana is closed and the races for Congress have a lot of familiar names.

8 are in the race for the U.S. House, 5 Republicans and 2 Democrats and one Libertarian.

The seat is currently held by Republican Steve Daines, who won't run for the House, but now is trying for the Senate.

Daines will be up against 6 others including Democratic Senator John Walsh, who was appointed by Governor Steve Bullock to finish out max Baucus's term.

The primaries will be held on June 3rd.
