Cornelius Hocker comes to KULR-8 from Kentucky.
A lover of all things art, you're bound to see him at the NOVA Center for the Performing Arts, the Alberta Bair Theatre, or any event that involves music.
Cornelius received his Bachelor's of Science in music from Murray State University, May 2013. While attending Murray State University, he wrote for his college's newspaper. After doing that for a year, he began writing for and appearing on "Roundabout U," a weekly magazine style show that was broadcast not just on campus, but throughout Western Kentucky, Southern Illinois, Southeast Missouri, and Northwest Tennessee.
"Roundabout U" afforded Cornelius the opportunity to intern at WPSD, the NBC affiliate located in Paducah, Kentucky. That internship was followed by another internship in Nashville, Tennessee at News Channel 5 WTVF. Both experiences gave him the essential tools he needed to forge his own career in broadcast journalism.
Cornelius is excited to be in Billings, Montana. He's traveled abroad to Germany and the Czech Republic; he's been to countless cities throughout the United States. However, Billings holds the distinction of being the furthest west he's ever been. He plans on traveling to many of the regional attractions while he's here.
