Special Olympics Montana Needs Volunteers

Special Olympics Montana is in full swing.

The Magic City will host the 2014 Special Olympics Summer Games May 13th through the 16th.

Today, a Call to Action press conference was held at the First Interstate Bank Operations Center.

Speakers said volunteers are crucial to the games success.

Jessica Hasler is one of the many athletes. She said the games are amazing. She has competed in them for the last 19 years.

Competitors range in age from 8 to 84.

An area games will be held April 25th and 26th for athletes to qualify for the games in May.

If you want to volunteer, you have three options: First, you can visit www.somt.org and click on the blue volunteer button in the upper right corner. You can also email somtvolunteer@gmail.com, and finally, you can give 406-896-5695 a call to sign up.
