'Nebraska' Part Two: The Billings and Laurel Connection

Posted: Updated:
BILLINGS, Mont. -

The movie 'Nebraska' isn't only about the Cornhusker State, it's about the Treasure State too. Specifically, Billings and Laurel.

The home of Kevin and Robin Schwartzkopf is where KULR-8 takes you Tuesday night, and it wasn't an easy task to find and finally decide it was the perfect fit for the movie.

Anne Gauer, location scout for Nebraska, was like an assistant coach. She brought the players of the team to the chosen spots in Billings and to the quaint house in a Laurel neighborhood, where KULR-8's Chief Photographer, Levi Adams, and Anchor, Stella Daskalakis, spent some time.

The locals we interviewed for our series say the entire 'Nebraska' cast and crew was phenomenal. They were professional and accommodating.

The Academy Awards are this weekend, and we'll be keeping a close eye on 'Nebraska.'
