The federal government is seeking millions from a Billings company after a 2008 clean-up effort.

Attorneys for the Environmental Protection Agency filed a civil lawsuit against Big Sky Linen Supply and Billings Laundry Company. In 2008, the EPA had crews clean up ground contamination from PCE, a cleaning solvent used for dry-cleaning, amounting to $10 million.

Court documents show Big Sky Linen Supply at 715 Grand disposed of PCE between 1967 and 1993 in the area. The EPA says the contamination was under more than 400 properties.
