Posted: Updated:
BILLINGS -

A big celebration at west park village for a group of local residents who have surpassed the age of 100 and there are 15 of them.

The centenarians were presented with plaques at the party and talked about the many experiences they've had in their lives. Helen Jamieson is 102 years old. She says her family was one of the pioneers in the west. She stayed on a homestead in Montana for several years, living on a horse ranch. Jamieson says she counts life by the experiences.

"You know, I don't pay much attention to the years. I think it's more if you're interested in life and you're busy, you don't worry about the years. They just happen."

Jamieson's family was at the party to celebrate with her. She says she's grateful for having a great family with so many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
