Millions of Pounds of Beef Recalled

Posted: Updated:
BILLINGS -

One beef producer is recalling nearly 9-million pounds of its products some of which made its way to Montana.

The Rancho Feeding Corporation says the recall is because it processed diseased and unsound animals and did so without the benefit of federal inspection.

The products were made from January 1, 2013 through January 7, 2014.

They bear EST 527 and the case code ends in a "3" or "4."

So far, there have been no reports of any illnesses.

Anyone with questions can contact the Food Safety Inspection Service at (888) 674-6854.
