Hear Greg "Meow" Over Montana Top For Cats

BILLINGS -

Montana might be about wildlife, but it's also about cat life as well.

That's right, the Treasure State ranks in the top ten for best states for cat lovers.

According to Estately, a national online real estate magazine, Montana cats have a longer average life span than anywhere else -- that life span is nearly 12-and-a-half years.

The ranking speculates perhaps its the fresh air or maybe the cats are offspring from Butte, considered the toughest cats in America.

Either way, let's hear it for our furry felines coming in at number 8.

And if you like these cute kitties, don't forget you can check out "Paws and Claws" to see more of them. That's every Friday night on the KULR-8 News at 10.
