BILLINGS -

Representative Steve Daines stopped in Billings and visited Mark Rite Lines Equipment.

Thursday afternoon Representative Daines took a tour of the business, alongside MRL's president Jim Spielman, to learn more about the products and services they provide.

MRL is a Billings-based manufacturing company that specializes in making the trucks that paint the lines on highways. The company has clients across the US and Canada and in Asia and Europe.

Representative Daines said it's important to have innovative companies like MRL to create jobs for Montanans.

"It's really exciting to see manufacturing jobs here in Montana, high paying jobs, that we're exporting products all over the world," said Daines.

MRL currently employs nearly 100 people in Billings.
