"Nebraska" Receives Six Oscar Nominations

A movie partially shot in the Magic City is earning the highest of praise.

The film "Nebraska" received 6 Academy Award nominations on Thursday, including best picture.

The movie stars Will Forte and Bruce Dern, who is nominated for Best Actor in a Leading Role.

It is about a cantankerous father who thinks he has struck it rich, and he takes his son on a road trip to claim the fortune.

Nebraska is also nominated for Best Director, Best Supporting Actress, Best Original Screenplay and Best Cinematography.

The Oscars will be presented on March 2nd.
