Musicians Inspire Students

BILLINGS -

Members of the Billings Symphony Orchestra and Chorale stopped by Orchard Elementary School on Tuesday.

While there, they previewed a mini concert of their upcoming show.

The musicians use musical stories and instruments to teach students about various countries, and cultures.

They have made their way into 10 other schools in Stillwater, and Carbon counties.

Executive Director, Candy Holzer said the performance is a family-friendly concert.

"They will experience just getting to sit in the Alberta Theater, which a lot of children may not have that opportunity, coming into the theater, and listening to the entire symphony presenting a concert just for children," said Holzer.

The concert is at the Alberta Bair Theater next weekend. If you're interested, the show starts at 11 AM. Tickets are $6 for children and adults.
