A man charged with second-degree murder was expected to plead guilty in court Tuesday, but he decided he wants a trial.

John Harold Holds III is suspected of killing 42-year-old Franklin Redwolf. Redwolf's body was found on November 2nd near the Two Leggins river access on Crow Reservation.

Court documents indicate Redwolf made unwanted advances toward holds while giving Holds a ride. Interviews report a woman saw holds with blood on his hands and clothes and two bloody knives. He told her he cut a man's neck and dragged the body to the river.

The trial is scheduled for February 18th.
