Coroners Investigate Decapitated Body

Park County authorities released more information regarding a dismembered body located northwest of Powell on Thursday.

An autopsy was performed on Saturday. A pathologist reports the victim was likely Caucasian or a very light-skinned Hispanic man. He was about 5'5" and weighed between 180 and 200 pounds. The victim was wearing blue jeans, brown Ariat boots, and a brown leather belt with a distinctive braided design.

The pathologist estimates the time of death was on January 7th. Authorities said they located the body on Thursday, along the Little Sand Coulee Road in Park County. The exact cause of death is still under investigation.
