Billings Police are investigating an armed robbery that took place Tuesday afternoon.

Officers say the incident took place at a Mountain Mudd coffee kiosk on North 27th Street.

According to Lt. David Cardillo, a white man in his mid-twenties, thin build, wearing a black hoodie, approached the coffee kiosk around 4:30 PM. The man displayed a handgun to the clerk, took an undisclosed amount of money, and fled on foot. Authorities say the investigation is ongoing.
