WANTED: Homicide Suspect

An early morning homicide is still under investigation at this hour.

Sheriff Mike Linder tells KULR-8 News, a caller in Lockwood phoned the Sheriff's department at 4:20 a.m. to report they heard four shots on Wasco Avenue.

A second caller reported a person had been shot. When deputies arrived on scene, they found the body of an adult male outside a mobile home.

The Yellowstone County Sheriff's Office reports the shooting is being investigated as a homicide and no one has been taken into custody as of yet.

Yellowstone County Sheriff's Department is asking for your help in finding the suspect in the Lockwood shooting this morning that left one man dead.

The suspect is identified as Martin Jon Pond, and is also known as Martin J. Bouwkamp Jr. He is 6' tall, 180 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. The Sheriff's Department says he may be driving a gray Honda Odyssey van with Montana Plate 316120B.

He is considered armed and dangerous. The Sheriff's Department urges you to not approach the suspect.
