BILLINGS -

A woman from the south side of Billings and her son are $100,000 richer on Thursday.

Helen and Sheldon Wortham bought their Montana Millionaire ticket at the 3-G's convenience store on State Avenue. Helen, Sheldon, and a family friend from Tennessee will split the prize.

According to manager, Dan Grosulak, 3-G's has sold winning tickets before, but nothing near the $100,000 mark.

"I think it's great that it's here in Billings and in this neighborhood, and that it was a local person and a frequent customer here. So, I'm sure it will generate a lot of excitement in the neighborhood, knowing that someone won a hundred thousand dollars yesterday," said Grosulak.

The million dollar winning ticket was sold in Columbia Falls.
