Police Investigate Two Attempted Robberies

Billings police say they're investigating two attempted robberies on Billings west end Tuesday.

They say the first one happened just after 11 AM at the Montana Rescue Mission Bargain Center on 24th Street. Police say a man walked into the store and demanded money. When store employees told him they couldn't give him any money he left. Police say he didn't show a weapon.

About 20 minutes later police say a man tried to rob the Domino's on Grand Avenue. They say the suspect walked into the store showed a knife and demanded money, but the clerk refused and he left without any cash. Police say they have arrested a suspect, 22- year old Stanley Jones, in the second attempted robbery. Right now, police don't know if the two incidents are related.
