NAPA Donates to Toys For Tots

BILLINGS -

Napa Auto Parts Store owners and vendors raised more than $6,300 for Billings area Toys For Tots.

Steve Postel, NAPA Billings General Manager, presented the check to Captain Diana Salmela.

One of the reasons for the big donation is an event they held at their dealer show.

"This year we decided to take it another notch up, and we had at our annual dealer show. We had a pie throwing event where people were able to throw pies at myself and my sales manager, Rocky Mann, and through that we were able to collect over sixty-three hundred dollars," said Postel.

"I think it's a good incentive for other companies and other organizations to see just how a successful event can be ran, and just how great and tremendous the donations could be if they just did a certain type of event," said Captain Salmela.

Postel says they did much better this year, raising six times as much money, saying who doesn't want to throw a pie at an auto guy every once in awhile.
