Suspect Arrested In Robbery

BILLINGS -

Billings Police arrest a suspect connected to a convenience store robbery last night.

Officers responded to a robbery call at the Holiday store at 8th and Grand a little before midnight.

Officers say a man walked into the store, displayed a handgun, and demanded money. After getting the cash, he fled on foot.

Early this morning, police got a call about a suspicious person who matched the description of the robbery suspect.

A search of the area revealed the cash that was stolen, but not the clothing the suspect was wearing or the gun. The person was arrested, but law enforcement has not yet released his name.

Police are asking residents and business owners around the Holiday store to search their property for the items, but to avoid touching them.

Call police if you see the items.
