Luminary Service to Honor Lives

BILLINGS -

The holidays can be hard for those who have lost a loved one.

Billings Clinic is holding its annual Season of Luminaria prayer service. The Clinic's chaplain says the holidays are a celebratory season. The service helps families who are grieving.

"One thing to remember is to draw upon the resources that you have when you're grieving," said Susan Thomas, Billings Clinic chaplain. "One of them is family, some are friends, and another is faith. And so one thing about our service I think it can combine all those things together."

The service starts at 6 p.m. in the Billings Clinic hospital atrium. If you would like to honor a loved one with a luminary bag, you can visit the hospital or call the Billings Clinic Foundation at 657-4670.
