Apps to Help You Survive the Winter Months

Posted: Updated:
BILLINGS -

Winter is upon us, and at least two apps will help you survive the cold winter months.

It's called a Winter Survival Kit. It's free, and it can help you if you get stranded in a winter storm.

It will determine your exact location, notify your friends and family, and it even calls 911.

It will also help determine how long you can run your engine before you run out of gas, and it provides information on the nearest gas stations.

On another note, if you're looking to save a few bucks on your next ski resort, there's an app for that called Ski Vacation Deals, and that one is free too.

The app is for an iPhone and lists states, which have the latest ski resort deals, as well as ski and snowboard vacation deals.
