Wreaths Across America Day

BILLINGS -

A nationwide day of remembrance for fallen vets, called Wreaths Across America Day, was observed at the Mountview Cemetery Saturday morning.

Cadets from the Civil Air Patrol, Beartooth Composite Squadron stationed in Billings, came together to lay nearly three hundred wreaths on veteran's graves.

"It co-ordinates with the laying of the wreaths at Arlington National Cemetery. We were all doing this at the exact same time and the changing of the guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier," said First Lieutenant David Larson.

The group raised money to purchase the wreaths by going door to door asking for donations.
