Riverstone Health Wrapping Party

BILLINGS -

Riverstone Health employees are replacing a Christmas party with an event to help people in need.

It's a party to wrap presents. For the fifth year, employees sponsored a "wish item" and a "need item" for children in the area. Riverstone Health is helping 50 homeless students in School District Two and nearly 90 of their clients. Organizers say it's an important time for children.

"A lot of times, when you're changing places and you don't have a place to call your own, maybe you don't think Santa's going to be able to find you," said Sue Runkle, SD2's homeless education liaison. "Maybe in this way we can make that happen and their holidays can be happy also."

The gifts were donated by Riverstone employees and through a Town Pump Foundation grant. Presents will be delivered on Monday.
