Man Receives New Hearing Aids

BILLINGS -

A Bearcreek man gets a new set of hearing aids after his home burned to the ground.

Thanks to the Hearing Aid Institute, 79-year-old Bob Thompson can hear again after specialists donated the two $3,000 devices. Last Thursday, an electrical fire destroyed his home. Fortunately, Bob was able to escape with a few items and his best friend, Kathy Burgener. Kathy said she feels so blessed to live in such a caring community. "It's so wonderful. They are such wonderful people. Bob hasn't been able to hear, and it has been so difficult." Kathy said.

At last word, the couple are living in a half-way house. If you would like to help the couple you can mail funds to the Bank of Red Lodge.
