Police are looking for a man they believe robbed two restaurants Tuesday night. Officers were called to the Papa Johns on 24th Street West around 8:30. Employees say a man came into the store with a black handgun and demanded money. After getting the cash, he fled on foot.

About 30 minutes later, officers were called to another robbery at the Subway at 1020 Central Avenue. A man matching the description from the first robbery entered the store, demanded money, and pulled up his coat to show a gun in his waistband. After getting an undisclosed amount of money, he fled on foot. Officers were able to track his boot prints for a distance, but they ended at a set of tire tracks.

The suspect is described as a black male in his twenties, about 5'10" and 250 pounds. He was wearing a dark coat, a black hoodie and black pants. He was also wearing black gloves and a black ski mask. Police ask that anyone with any information about the robberies call 657-8200.
