Intersections Prone to Accidents

Posted: Updated:
BILLINGS -

The Billings Police Department tells us there are a couple of intersections in the Magic City that have been more prone to accidents over the last few days.

Several accidents have happened at the intersections of Wicks Lane and Lakehills Drive and Wicks and Main Street in the heights.

The intersections at Grand and 3rd Street West and 24th Street West and Central and Broadwater are extremely slick too.

"Relating to personal incidents, coming to work this morning, people are leaving that extra space between them and the vehicle in front, and what I'm seeing is some very unsafe lane changes occurring then," said Lieutenant Kevin Iffland of the Billings Police Department.

Lt. Iffland stresses that people should allow for extra time to travel to your destination, especially while the slick street policy is in effect.
