Eight inches and counting. The Montana Department of Transportation is urging drivers to be mindful of the weather.

According to the MDT website, reduced visibility and drifting snow is reported throughout the state. Severe driving conditions are being reported in the Forsyth, Miles City, Glendive and Broadus areas. Scattered snow and ice on Highway 12 between Harlowton and White Sulphur Springs is being reported. MDT reports Highways 87 and 244 between Roundup and Winnett are mostly dry.
