Shepherd Woman Dies of Exposure

BILLINGS, Mont. -

The Yellowstone County Coroner determines cause of death of a Shepherd woman, who was found dead outside of her home.

On Friday, 58-year-old Victoria Bokum was found outside of her house in Shepherd. Coroner Bill Jones says Bokum died of exposure, and according to the autopsy, it appears she could have sought shelter from the cold. Jones says results of a toxicology test may take months.

    One person is dead following a police-involved shooting on the 400 block of Bunting Street in Billings Southside Saturday. Five officers have been placed on administrative leave as per officer-involved shooting protocol.

    A passing car rammed into a police car in Cody Monday. It happened as the officer was opening his door to get out, after he stopped another car. The Wyoming Highway Patrol issued pictures of the damaged police car, parked on Sheridan Avenue near the Sierra Trading Post.
