Beartooth Harley Hosts Chili Cook-Off

BILLINGS, Mont. -

Dozens of people gathered Saturday to sample some of the best chili and beer the Magic City has to offer. Beartooth Harley Davidson hosted the 8th Annual Wild West Chili Cook-Off.

With a five-dollar donation, attendants could sample ten different chili recipes that were cooked on site, and vote for their favorite. The event also featured a few local microbrews for people to sample.

"We have three or four, five judges today actually who will be judging all of the chilies. And as far as the beer goes, I don't know. We had a lot of volunteers to be the beer judge, but we're leaving that up to our customers," said organizer, Colette Haun.

The event lasted from 11 AM until 2PM on Saturday. All proceeds benefit Families For Outdoor Recreation, an organization whose goal is to keep public land and trails open for recreational vehicle use.

The Billings Army Reserve tells us they are unable to determine who is responsible for throwing an American flag in their dumpster because there are more people who have access to those dumpsters than just their employees.
