Yellowstone National Park will be free this weekend in honor of Veteran's Day.

The free admission is for everyone November 9th through the 11th. The road from the park's North Entrance at Gardiner through Mammoth Hot Springs, Tower Junction, the Lamar Valley and the Northeast Entrance to Silver Gate and Cooke City is open to most vehicles all year such as cars and trucks.

All other park entrances and roads are closed for the season except to things like snowmobiles and snowcoaches.

    All 24 warning sirens in Yellowstone County are working properly according to the county's Department of Emergency Services. The sirens were tested last night for about a minute as part of Severe Weather Awareness Week.
