Church Gathers Warm Clothing for Needy

Posted: Updated:
BILLINGS -

A church in Billings spent the last 30 days collecting warm clothing for those in need.

Wayman Chapel gathered goats, scarves, hats, gloves, and sleeping bags to provide to those in need during the cold Winter months. It's something many people in the congregation felt passionately about, and to show their support, continued to bring in clothing to help.

"There's families out there in need of coats, there's children going to school. I see there's homeless people on the street, and I just see they're in need," says Reverend Eddie Laster.

The warm clothing is available for those in need through November 15th at Wayman Chapel on 402 S. 25th St.
