Free Mammograms at Billings Clinic

Posted: Updated:

The numbers show one out of eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer every year, which is why Billings Clinic is providing free mammograms.

Sarah Porter-Osen, NCI's Community Cancer Centers Program Coordinator, said early detection could save lives.

"Mammograms are very important to women that are in that age criteria just because if people are getting their screening, there being preventative measures for that. If there is a cancer diagnosis, and it's detected early, the chances of survival are much greater," Porter-Osen said.

Porter-Osen said the free mammograms are for uninsured or underinsured women from 35 to 65-years old, and will be available on November 9th from 8:30 to 10:30 AM.

If you want to schedule an appointment, eleven appointments are available.
