BILLINGS -

The woman arrested for her role in three robberies and two attempted robberies over the weekend makes an appearance in justice court, and reportedly hints the robbery money was for a man's bail.

41-year-old Karen Kay Damron is charged with three felony counts of robbery, two felony counts of attempted robbery and one misdemeanor count of obstructing a peace officer.

Detectives working the case say they pursued a tip that led them to Damron on Saturday.

Officers say Damron eventually confessed to committing all three robberies and the two attempted robberies.

Court documents state Damron robbed the Nickel Ante Casino, Cedar Ridge Casino and Lucky Lils Casino and attempted to rob the Diamond Jubilee Casino and Doc and Eddy's Casino.

Court documents also indicate it appears Damron's intent of the robberies was to raise bond money for a man who goes by the street name of *darkness.*

An investigation reveals that man is James Vincent Cracraft. He appeared in district court by video on Tuesday for an early morning shooting on Friday. Cracraft faces 8 counts including burglary and theft.
