Community Conversations Encourage Input

Posted: Updated:
BILLINGS -

Strategic and transportation planning were the hot topics Tuesday night during the latest of the city's Community Conversations.

City leaders also discussed the proposed charter amendment. Billings residents pitched in with their own ideas to plan for the city's future. One idea for transportation was creating an overpass on 29th Street to bypass train traffic. The meeting also encouraged residents to keep a conversation going about how to improve the city.

The city is holding two more Community Conversations Thursday. One is at the Garfield Resource Center Gym from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The other is at the Little Horn State Bank from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m.
