BILLINGS -

A 41-year-old woman has been arrested in connection to four attempted casino robberies over the weekend.

According to the Billings Police Department, Karen Kay Damron has been charged with one count of robbery, two counts of attempted robbery, and one count of theft.

Detectives working the case say they pursued a tip that led them to Damron. After speaking with her, officers say Damron confessed to all four crimes.

The first robbery attempt, officers responded to a hold-up alarm at the Diamond Jubilee Casino in the Heights Saturday morning.

An employee told officers a woman, fitting Damron's description, walked in and demanded money.

Three other similar hold-up attempts occurred at the Nickel Ante Casino, Doc And Eddy's, and The Cedar Ridge Casino in Laurel.

Damron will likely appear in court tomorrow.
