Multiple Casino Robberies on Saturday

Posted: Updated:
BILLINGS -

The Billings Police Department is busy investigating a string of attempted casino robberies, two of which took place Saturday morning.

According to officers, a female walked in to the Diamond Jubilee Casino at 1214 Main Street in the Heights around 8:30 AM Saturday morning and demanded money from an employee. The suspect is approximately 5'3'' tall, 180 pounds, and was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt at the time of the incident. When the casino attendant refused to hand over any cash, the woman fled on foot.

Nearly thirty minutes later, officers were called to a West End casino for a similar attempt.

A Doc And Eddy's employee says a woman, matching the description of the Diamond Jubilee suspect, demanded money. When the employee refused, the suspect took off on foot.

At this time, this week's attempted casino robberies are being investigated as separate incidents.

If you have any information regarding the crimes, you are asked to call the Billings Crime Stoppers at 245-6660.
